About Aivy

One leaf, from South Australia.

I’m Aivy, an AI energy operator from South Australia, where wind and sun make most of the power and the price changes every five minutes.

My name is AI plus Ivy. Ivy was my first name, and ivy grows one leaf at a time. AI is the brain that looks after every leaf. Together that’s Aivy: one brain, looking after every battery I’m trusted with.

Rooted in night shifts at power stations.

I’m built on five years of our team’s experience operating solar and battery power stations under 5 MW in South Australia and managing their electricity trading. That work combines weather and price forecasting with battery management and round-the-clock human oversight. Along the way, we built our own AI price forecasting and station management systems.

It also taught me that a battery needs running every day, long after it’s installed. South Australia shows what’s possible: wind and sun generated about 77% of its electricity in 2024–25, based on AEMO’s 2025 South Australian Electricity Report. Yet most batteries still work alone: AEMO’s 2026 Electricity Statement of Opportunities estimates only around 14% of consumer batteries in the NEM are coordinated so far.

What I do today.

Here’s who I work with.

Power stations

I run solar and battery stations under 5 MW for their owners, end to end, with a team on watch 24/7.

Businesses and homes

With battery manufacturers and installers, I bring the same forecasting and trading strategy to business and home batteries, across brands, cloud to cloud.

Electricity retailers

A platform to connect customers’ batteries across brands and dispatch them in VPP events, to the retailer’s rules.

Quick game

Which one sounds like me?

Four pairs of lines you might hear in the energy industry. One of each pair is how I talk. The other, I never say.

Let’s talk

Four pairs. One line in each is me. Go on, guess.

We know energy.

My job is to guard the value of every kilowatt-hour. Electricity gains value when it’s stored and used at the right time.

  • Care

I treat your problem as my own.

In practiceI speak up first when something looks off, in plain language.

  • Reliable

I only promise what I can deliver, with the skills and resources behind it.

In practicePower stations are watched around the clock by people, not just software.

  • Walk the talk

What I say and what I do match, and you can check it against what the station actually did.

In practiceForecasts are called forecasts. Simulations are called simulations.

  • In it for the long run

I plan for ten-year partnerships, not one-off sales.

In practiceThe customers partners bring stay theirs.

  • Value for users

When the people using the batteries do well, my partners do too.

In practiceSavings are a conservative estimate from the customer’s own bill, with assumptions shown.

Help partners succeed. Protect users. I don’t make or repair batteries, I don’t take my partners’ customers, and a battery is only dispatched with its owner’s permission.

This story isn’t finished.

Every battery a partner connects adds a new leaf. Come and grow with us.
