Awake for every price spike.
For solar and battery power stations under 5 MW: control systems, grid connection, trading, settlement and maintenance, from one accountable team.
For owners, investors and developers of solar, battery and hybrid stations across the National Electricity Market.
One accountable team.
Five services that often come from different suppliers, under one team. Take all of them, or only the ones you need.
EMS and SCADA
Your existing systems integrated; ours added only where they help.
Grid connection
Support through connection, compliance and commissioning.
Trading and dispatch
Forecast, plan and dispatch, every five minutes.
Market settlement
Statements checked and reconciled, interval by interval.
Monitoring and maintenance
Alarms are watched around the clock and followed up quickly, with the equipment maker where warranty applies.
Can you catch the spike?
It’s 2 pm and your station’s battery is full. The game runs until 10 pm, with a new price every five minutes, just as the real market does all day. You have limited stored energy: about two hours of selling at full power. Press and hold to sell, and choose your moments.
Ready when you are. Press start, then hold Sell when you think it’s worth it.
How well you timed it (100% = perfect hindsight)
Made-up prices. A timing score, not real returns or forecast accuracy.
Why it matters.
Prices are uneven. A few evenings can carry a large share of a month’s trading revenue, and a spike missed doesn’t come back.
- Every five minutesA new price is set 288 times a day, and each interval settles on its own.
- Spikes are shortOften minutes, not hours, so the battery has to be charged before one arrives.
- Midday can go negativeWhen the price drops below zero, the battery charges instead of the station exporting at a loss.
- Uptime counts most at the peakWhat an hour offline costs depends on when it happens and whether the station is ready for the next opportunity. Five minutes offline in a spike can cost the evening.
How a spike is handled.
AI forecasts the price. Our trading strategy decides when to charge and discharge, and our team on watch 24/7 oversees every move. Your equipment’s own protections always come first.
- 1
Forecast
AI forecasts the price for your region, day-ahead and through the day, including when a spike is likely.
- 2
Prepare
We plan charging ahead of expected high wholesale price periods. The team reviews the plan against the battery’s operating limits.
- 3
Respond
When the price jumps, the station dispatches within your limits, interval by interval, with the team watching, and stands down when it falls.
- 4
Settle
Every interval is checked against the settlement statement, and the results flow into your monthly reports.
Getting started.
Start with your station or project details. We’ll go through it with you and show where changes could help. Then you decide what we take on.
- 1
Share your station or project details
For an operating station, a month of SCADA data or settlement statements is a useful start. For a planned project, share the size and connection details.
- 2
We review it with you
For an operating station: spikes captured, exports during negative prices and downtime, with the constraints behind each. For a new project: the services it needs.
- 3
We agree the scope
All five services or just some. Your existing systems stay where they work well.
- 4
Put the agreed services in place
We take over the agreed services with a planned handover, and report to you every month.
Five regions, five price patterns.
Wind sets the pace in South Australia. Coal and rooftop solar shape Queensland and New South Wales. Brown coal and wind drive Victoria, and Tasmania runs on hydro. We forecast each region on its own terms, five minutes at a time.

Questions you might have
Which stations do you work with?
Solar, battery and hybrid stations under 5 MW, across the National Electricity Market: Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
How does our existing control system connect?
We assess what you have first, integrate where we can, and add Aivy EMS and SCADA where needed.
Can we choose individual services?
Yes. Control systems, grid connection support, trading and dispatch, settlement, and monitoring and maintenance can each be chosen separately.
What can owners see?
Operating, trading and settlement reports, so you can see what the station did, what it earned and why.
How is performance measured?
With actual operating records, against benchmarks agreed up front: availability, how much of each spike was captured and what the station earned.
